Review: Youde (UD) Bellus

The latest RTA/RBA from UD is another hit! It’s a two post build deck rebuildable tank atomizer; albeit not akin to the velocity-styled two-post build deck everyone is a fan of, its two post holes, only one hole per post. With that in mind, it is still very much designed for dual coils and can accommodate a fairly wide range of wires with the reasonably wide post holes. The fact that you can remove the build deck to rebuild, rewick, or otherwise adjust your coils is awesome! I just got mine today, built it with the pre-wrapped coils that were…

Not perfect, but close!

I'd buy it again, and its now my new favorite tank with top fill, great airflow, easy building, and plenty of extras!

With that in mind, it is still very much designed for dual coils and can accommodate a fairly wide range of wires with the reasonably wide post holes. The fact that you can remove the build deck to rebuild, rewick, or otherwise adjust your coils is awesome! I just got mine today, built it with the pre-wrapped coils that were included and stuck it on my IPV D2. The build came out to .42 ohms, wicked and juiced it and was vaping like a dragon!

Regarding the top fill functionality, I’ve heard a couple different things, some people say leave it open or it leaks, other people say to close it or it leaks, myself, I left the airflow open while filling, no leaks whatsoever. Also, the top fill is incredibly versatile, this version and the TFV4 are the only two I’ve experienced so far where its not a complete pain to fill, the Triton’s top fill is absolutely terrible! This is not that, it has been simple to fill with glass droppers as well as with squeeze bottles, like unicorn bottles. I’m personally in love with this top fill method!

Specs: The tank is made of 304 grade stainless steel and Pyrex glass, it has a gold-plated adjustable 510 pin, its 45mm tall, has a 5ml capacity, top fill, 32 air holes (16 on each side), a rifled drip tip, comes with lots of extras, able to be built single or dual-coil, direct-to-coil side airflow, and about a 6.5mm wide-bore chimney.

Pros: The tank is setup similar to the Aromamizer RTA in that the airflow is direct-to-coil from the side, also the juice flows straight down the sides of the airflow to the wicks. There is plenty of airflow, and no whistling you hear when using some other tanks. It looks great, sleek, and comes with a nice 5mL capacity and top-fill features.

Cons: These are subjective, but they need to be listed, the way you remove the build deck leaves a lot of room for a mess, yes it’s nice that you can remove it and adjust your coils without emptying your tank, but with every upside there’s typically a down, and this is it. While plenty wide, the post holes will show some difficulty fitting truly thick wires, and Clapton’s will have to be small to fit, with a small (~2.5mm or less) internal diameter.

Included in the packaging:

  • Youde Bellus RTA
  • Pyrex glass tube
  • prebuilt kanthal coils
  • single coil adapter
  • top fill gasket
  • insulator
  • black o-rings x4
  • drip tip o-ring
  • red o-rings x2
  • phillips head screw x2
  • japanese cotton pad

Overall, I’m a pretty huge fan, this is my first RTA since my Kayfun V3, not counting sub-ohm clearomizers which have RBA sections, I’d have to say I’m a fan!

Get yours at Sweet-Vapes for $26.95 for stainless steel and $28.95 for the black version!
