Six bays people, 6 bays! And just in time for the Reuleaux, since both versions of that mod take 3 batteries, this is the perfect charger for that mod, you can fit 2 spent sets of batteries in here and its perfect! Plus, Bluetooth!
Alright, the Bluetooth thing is kind of gimmicky, but its nifty, I have my charger in a different room, a spare bedroom, from where I spend most of my time, so being able to check remotely if I have a fully charged set is kind of nice, it’s also come in handy for when I wanted to up the charge rate to finish a set before I leave, the app is super easy to use and works well, we’ve seen vape gear related apps before, like the Smok app for the XCube II, which was garbage, but this one actually works.
The other nice feature for those 26650 vapers is you can charge at two amps on up to two slots if you want to, and a fair few 26650 batteries are capable of being charged at this rate. I wouldn’t recommend it, but it’s possible! Essentially there are 6 slots and you have 4 amps total charging power to split between them how you see fit. The default is a nice safe half amp per slot, but you can charge 4 at a half amp each and 2 at 1 amp each, or 4 at 1 amp each, or 2 at 2 amps each. The display isn’t that hard to read either as it scrolls through each slot, or shows the slot you select (each slot has a button on it) and shows you the current charge of the battery, charge slot, and charge rate, with the app you can also see the charge curves of each cell, which can be used to assess the health of a battery.
If you’re not feeling the app, or you have an Apple device, you can just push the button for the slot you want to view, it will show everything the app does save for the charging curves, and after selecting a slot, you can click the main button to change the charge rate, easy peasy! Lastly, that’s a lot of lights if you charge in your bedroom, so if you click the main button, you can turn on stealth mode which turns off the main display and all the button lights. One other thing I found super convenient compared to my Efest Luc v4 is that the transformer is built into the charger, as opposed to on the end of the cord, so if you have a tight space for the outlet, it’s nice and easy to plug in. Lastly the lights on each slot blink when charging, and light up solid when charged.
If you just got a Reuleaux or, like me, you just have a lot of batteries sitting around and are constantly running out of charging space, I highly recommend this charger, I have yet to have any issues with it unevenly charging any of my batteries and it fits a lot of them, so get one here!
